‘MDC Foods picked up two honours at the 2007 Awards Ceremony: a Gold accolade was awarded for our Pan-Cook Italian chicken & pasta meal for one, developed for Tesco, while our Asparagus Steamer, developed as part of Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference range, won Silver. Both the Stir-fry and Steam categories are areas in which we have built up acknowledged expertise over many years. The award-winning products are a natural extension of our Vegetable and Ready Meal product ranges, which include an extensive Steam Range of Vegetables, Soups and complete Meals for one as well as a broad Stir Fry product range. Our expertise with tried-and-tested preparation and packaging methods means customers can be sure that key nutritional elements are preserved, and that taste and texture are also much improved compared with traditional ways of cooking.
