Hesbayefrost began producing frozen
vegetables in 1985. As a result of major investments totalling over
€82 million, Hesbayefrost has a state-of-the-art production;
an outstanding repack facility, and one of the most developed integrated crop
management systems in our industry. Hesbayefrost is probably the most efficient and quality focused producer in Europe.
Hesbayefrost’s responsible attitude to environmental issues
makes it the perfect partner for our own label customers. With a growing
area of approximately 7,000 hectares per annum and continual investment
from strong partnerships such as CROP’S. Hesbayefrost is able
to produce 95,000 tonnes of finished product for the food industry.
In addition to the production of peas, carrots, beans,
sprouts and spinach, Hesbayefrost has recently increased its product
range to include varieties of rice and fresh frozen pasta products.
