Our Year So Far!

2017 has kicked off to a flying start for MDC foods with a strong presence at both the Casual Dining Show in February followed by IFE in March.

The Casual Dining Show gave us the perfect platform to showcase our new and fresh approach to the increasingly important Vegetable category within the Foodservice market. Visitors to the stand were given the opportunity to come and sample our unique offer of convenient, quality meal components, comprising of a range of pasta, rice and potato products to Mediterranean vegetables, mixes and grains. Bold flavours, textures with bite, colour and variety are used to the full to create our products, which ultimately aim to make Foodservice menus: offer a greater variety of dishes without adding complexity, simpler and quicker to deliver, and more economical through portion control and reduced preparation times.

Following the success of Casual Dining was IFE in March, which saw the launch of our new range of premium quality frozen produce, exclusively for the wholesale market, under our Crop’s brand. Developed to help wholesalers cater for foodservice customers such as independent hotels, guest houses, pubs, restaurants and cafés; our Crop’s range comprises of a wide selection of frozen vegetables, in addition to pasta, rice, potatoes and grains. The range aims to attract chefs and caterers looking for products which will save them time, help manage portion control and minimise wastage. We are continually developing our range with new formats and innovative products, to ensure that we are at the forefront of consumer trends and are meeting the needs of chefs.
