Crop's

Established in 1948, Crop’s in Belgium has developed into a market leading company with a current annual turnover of over €190 million.

Now producing, freezing, packing and marketing frozen vegetables, fruits and value-added ready meals to the food industry across Europe, Crop’s has become a major player in the European market, trading under its own brand as well as private label for retailers.

A wealth of experience in all areas of the business, from an innovative NPD team to a state-of-the-art, all-purpose assembly plant with complete packaging flexibility.

Hesbayefrost

In the fertile farmland area of Hesbaye in Belgium you'll find Hesbayefrost - the largest ‘field to fork’ frozen vegetable producer in Europe.

Hesbayefrost began producing frozen vegetables in 1985. As a result of major investments totalling over €135 million, Hesbayefrost offers state-of-the-art production, an outstanding repack facility, and one of the most developed integrated crop management systems in our industry. Hesbayefrost is probably the most efficient and quality focused producer in Europe.

Hesbayefrost’s responsible attitude to environmental issues makes it the perfect partner for our own label customers. With a growing area of approximately 7,500 hectares per annum and continual investment with strong partnerships such as Crop’s, Hesbayefrost is able to produce 100,000 tonnes of finished product for the food industry.

In addition to the production of peas, carrots, beans, sprouts and spinach, Hesbayefrost has recently increased its product range to include varieties of rice and fresh frozen pasta products.

Monliz

Our premier partner for the supply of Mediterranean vegetables for over 16 years, Monliz is based in the Tagus Valley in Alpiarça, Portugal. Incorporated into the Crop's group in 2001, Monliz completed its new state-of-the-art production facility in 2005.

Specialising in broccoli, peppers, tomatoes, aubergines and courgettes, the perfect location and temperate climate of the growing area ensures a consistent crop production, currently producing 23,000 tonnes of Mediterranean vegetables per annum.

Strict pesticide controls and fertiliser application ensures that residues are kept to a minimum, and with full HACCP and production controls implemented in 2004, we can assure our customers that the chain of traceability remains unbroken from field to delivery at their cold store, providing quality at competitive prices.
